Key Verse: Nehemiah 6:9 They were all trying to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will get too weak for the work, and it will not be completed. But, I prayed, “Now strengthen my hands.”

On this past Sunday, Pastor Jeff continued our journey through Nehemiah focusing on Chapter 6. He emphasized that even up to the very last days of Nehemiah finishing the project to rebuild the walls, his enemies came against him. They tried to get him to stop working. This is exactly how Satan attacks us. He tries to get us to give up and quit serving God. But like Nehemiah we must pray for God’s strength and trust God to resolve to keep working. This trust is activated through discernment, delighting, devotion and determination. IF we work hard to practice these principles, like Nehemiah (6:16) we can declare, “… this work had been done with the help of our God.” Selah
